Thank you for being a vital part of our success! Canteen Roster The canteen is the Brookvale hub on game days. While we have a canteen manager to ensure everything runs smoothly every match day and a barista to ensure that the coffee is excellent, we need the support of our teams to help prepare, cook, and serve all that fabulous fare! Each season, the canteen managers organise a roster inviting teams to help run this service on Saturdays and Sundays. We seek to align each team's rostered day and time with their home games and kick-off times and can only finalise this once the competition draws have been confirmed. Team coaches and managers will be advised of their shifts through the age group coordinator or directly from the canteen manager when time is of the essence. We ask for four volunteers (two per shift and at least 16 years old) to cover either the morning two shifts or the afternoon two shifts as follows: Morning Shifts: 7.15 am to 9.45 am ; 9.45 am to 12.00 pm Afternoon Shifts: 12:00 pm to 2:15 pm ; 2:15 pm to 4:30 pm (close) GO TO Dribl wet weather field STATUS field locations

Match Day The draw for all competitions can be found on DRIBL MWFA uses DRIBL to manage all the competitions throughout the season. For example, games might be cancelled, postponed, or moved to other fields in wet weather, so this tool is invaluable (click here for instructions on using DRIBL). Coaches and Managers, please note that you must confirm the match results on DRIBL straight after the game (and certainly no later than 6 p.m. on each game day): U/W8 to U/W11: The Coach or Manager must update ALL results (win, lose, draw) in DRIBL. U12/W12 and up: On game day, you must (1) submit your team sheet and (2) approve the opponent’s team sheet before the game is scheduled to start. (3) You must enter the result (win, lose, draw) into DRIBL after the game. To confirm the outcome, both teams must submit the result to DRIBL before the competition tables are updated, noting that the club can be penalised if it is not completed on time. Please see Forfeit Procedures if your team needs to forfeit a game. Please minimise the likelihood by planning around holidays and linking up with other teams from whom you can borrow players. Field Layouts & Playing Rules Field Layouts While you will quickly learn how the fields are set up for your home games, this resource will help you identify the layouts on away days (this includes the field numbers at each venue with the technical areas marked in yellow). All fields have technical areas where only registered players, coaches, and managers may enter during games. Forfeit Procedures Forfeiting a game disappoints many players and their families, so please only forfeit as a last resort. The MWFA also fines teams that forfeit too many times. Teams should plan for player shortages, especially around school holidays, to minimise the likelihood of forfeiting. Connecting with coaches and managers in other teams from whom you can borrow players is essential. Please remember that no player should be borrowed without the consent of the coach or manager of the player's team. U6 to U11s: These are non-competitive age groups, so there is no need to forfeit because of a lack of numbers. Turn the game into practice or a friendly with the opposition. If you have so few players that it isn’t worth playing, then you must email or text your Age Coordinator the following details: Opposition: / Age/ Div: / Match Date: / Match Time: / Match Location: U12s and up: The minimum number of players is 7 to start the game. If you intend to forfeit and there is much rain in the days leading up to game day, hold back to see if the match gets washed out. Any forfeit in place will not be rescheduled, even if the game is washed out. If you must forfeit: Go to DRIBL > go to your Match Sheet > scroll down to the bottom of the page > click on Forfeit Requests > click on the + sign in the top right-hand corner. In the Notes section, enter the reason (e.g. Not enough players due to illness/injuries) and click Save. DRIBL will notify MWFA for approval, and once approved, the opposition team will receive a notification from DRIBL to say the game was forfeited. DRIBL is updated with a 0-5 loss. .
